Show me your breakfast (2024)

I've never been to a Bob Evans, although I see their side dishes in the cold case at all the supermarkets.

I made us a "treat" kinda breakfast.
My Hawaiian-Style Fried Rice
American-style Scrambled Eggs
and Portuguese Sausage or Linguica from Hawaii
Not pictured is a bowl of Lychee (canned) and Guava Juice

having done outrageous amounts of many-over-night-business travel, and often in rather rural areas . . .
at that point, Bob Evans Resto is not such a bad choice . . .

I do like/prefer the Bob Evans original sausage in a roll - which I slice, pound out, par-fry and M/W from frozen for many breakfast excursions.
it's the seasonings - there are many local/national brands each with their own 'flavor' - my taste buds like Bob Evans the best, and I'm sticking to that story . . .

I have noted that seem the fat content has been reduced . . not a bad thing, just cooks different.

Spam® and Tamagoyaki Musubi
This is one the Hormel's newest flavors, Korean BBQ ... meh, it's okay as Musubi ... but I finally nailed that Omelette !!!!
Got a good ration of all three, Rice, Spam and Egg, all wrapped up with a nice strip of Nori ... OISHII!!!!
Not pictured is a nice sized glass of POG - passion-orange-guava juice that's so popular in Hawaii, as is the Musubi, no matter the filling.

I go there when they pay me to eat there! I did a few of those locations in my area before we went on vacation.

I made DH an omelet stuffed with sauteed onion, peppers, mushrooms, bacon, turkey, and spinach with colby jack, cheddar, and American cheese. Gone in 4 minutes!
