Today was a homemade imitation of a McMuffin.
Some wonderful rolls, split in two and fried in a bit of bacon fat. Bacon. Cheddar cheese. Colman's mustard. A simple omelette. Tomato slices. Ketchup.

Breakfast sandwiches using mini croissants, sausage patties, egg omelette, American cheese.
Individual Dutch babies and bacon:
I normally cook up a buttermilk-butterscotch syrup for these, but just stuck to maple syrup this morning.

This morning was our monthly outing for breakfast as The Ladies clean our house for us...
need a Mimosa to start out ... it's whopper and only $7 !!!
DH wanted French Toast, so he went for the full breakfast plate
I ordered the Build your own Omelette breakfast -Ham, Mushrooms, Onions and Jack Cheese - Hash browns and Rye Toast (dry) to take home for DH - I only ate the Omelette. And that housemade Salsa was some of the best I've ever had, YUM!

The breakfast here is free until 4pm, eat what you like all day. As it is, the pastries, fruit, yoghurt and drinks were not photographed.
