I'm always amazed at the effort you put into breakfast. I really don't have that kind of energy in the morning. Are you available as a butler? :D
Thank you! Breakfast is, by far, my favorite meal, but weekends and days off are the only times I do a cooked one, so I’m usually thinking/dreaming about it days ahead (even if it is just a rotation of the same three or four things :) ).

Ahh in that case I get why you put so much effort in. It looks like it would be my favorite meal too, if I was part of the tasty household  but it's also cultural difference, cooked breakfasts aren't really a Dutch thing and while I like them habit and other people's schedules prevent me from making the effort often.

but it's also cultural difference
It’s funny, because we eat cold cereal on weekdays, both because we like it and because it’s fast, but as soon as I retire, it’ll probably alternate between hot and cold. Growing up, we had a hot breakfast just about every day.

When we go on holiday to Europe, on of the things we look forward to are the cold cuts, cheeses, and bread rolls (along with a boiled egg), because it’s so different to what we usually have.

Funny indeed how the grass is always greener on the other side 😊 our sunday breakfast indeed often reprensents the things you mention

I'm with you on everything but the whole wheat flour tortillas. Do you like those?

CD
I was really surprised when I first bought them, but yes, I like them fine. Not quite as soft as a white flour one, but not far off at all.

This is the last of the Bangers that I brought back with us the last time we were in "The Big City".
I love this fancy-pants market, it has a wonderful butcher on site and he makes all of the sausages that they sell.
