Homemade mango yoghurt & grapes, also had unpictured toast
Most people don’t know this, but the song “Raspberry Beret” was originally called “Raspberries All Day,” and had a much more…innocent meaning, written when Prince was touring in SatNav’s area at the time and spied a young Scottish lass from the tour bus…Hmmmm…
I've never quite understood how things like sour cream or creme fraiche can go off unless they've got mold actually growing on them. I always found buttermilk far better about 1 month after its BB date (kept in the fridge for that time).because I have a tub of creme fraiche about to go off,
Chew your milk heh? I give it a good shake.I've never quite understood how things like sour cream or creme fraiche can go off unless they've got mold actually growing on them. I always found buttermilk far better about 1 month after its BB date (kept in the fridge for that time).
I have some December dated buttermilk in the refrigerator. I keep the date turned backwards so my OH can't see it because that would freak him out, lol. We don't drink buttermilk and he doesn't cook, I use it for baking. I would use sour cream after it's BB but no way would he do so.I've never quite understood how things like sour cream or creme fraiche can go off unless they've got mold actually growing on them. I just used half a litre (bought on 5th December) to make pancakes. Delish!I always found buttermilk far better about 1 month after its BB date (kept in the fridge for that time).
Stir with an eye closed! 😬Buttermilk, sour cream, creme fraiche, I’ll use after the date, but I use the date as a marker for when to start paying attention to the product, as I know both sour cream and creme fraiche will start to mold pretty quickly after it, and if I’m not paying attention, I’ll miss seeing the mold and use it.
