Show us your breakfast (2025)

Buttermilk, sour cream, creme fraiche, I’ll use after the date, but I use the date as a marker for when to start paying attention to the product, as I know both sour cream and creme fraiche will start to mold pretty quickly after it, and if I’m not paying attention, I’ll miss seeing the mold and use it.
My mom would scrape it off and use it anyway. I won't go that far.

Growing up, rice was considered “foreign,” so we’d never have any…except rice pudding for dessert. Dad would allow that.

Nothing as interesting as lime and coconut, though, which sounds divine. Ours was just cooked in milk, with loads of sugar and vanilla, with cinnamon and raisins stirred in.

Mine also has vanilla and cinnamon, I just went a little experimental with it and I think it worked.
Yours sounds good too! It's very comforting, like a hug in a bowl ❤️
