Ex-racing greyhounds are used to wearing coats of varying types, and a lot of them like being dressed up, but after the saga with the pink pig outfit Tippy prefers just to wear his indoor and outdoor fleeces. This was Tasha [and her toys] - she just filled up ALL the sofa - sadly she is gone now but Carla the lurcher also seems to fill up most of the available space :(. We have been thinking about when Carla goes we might replace her with a retired police of army dog - giving an old soldier a comfortable retirement seems fitting somehow

There is a steady requirement for homes in the UK - many handlers in the forces cannot adopt dogs - difficult if you might be stationed away for example. Besides the idea of a pup is not ideal for those of more 'mature' years and an older dog is more appropriate. Something we will be looking into in the future anyway
