His owner is a pos...
Kate was a mud dog, she reveled in it, absolutely loved the rain and the mud and the muck.

I remember when we first got her, I was reading about English Setters, and one of the articles from the AKC talked about how English Setters were the “aristocrats of the dog world” - a bit haughty and prim and proper.

Then I looked at her repeatedly nose-diving in sloppy puddle after puddle, shoulder-dropping into the mud, jumping up and shaking, then just barking at nothing, like a mad fool, and I thought, “If she’s part of the aristocracy, it must be from the overly inbred branch of the family…”

Hah, I’ve known a lot of horses who think that rolling in the mud is great fun!

There used to be one school horse I used to ride (he was my favourite) who used to get himself absolutely coated - usually on both sides too. He’d get mud all crusted in his mane and forelock, all over his face, and even end up with mud crusted on his eyelids! It used to take forever to get him clean, but he loved it!

He kept it up even when he was old and arthritic. He lived to be over 30.

Ozzie is terrified of lightning and thunder but his owner cares not for him in that way. When it's like that outside I let him sit inside a bit and give him some warm food. He's smart; when the food is done he'll slink back to his puddle and wait till I open the door again.

Aww, poor baby. I'm glad you are good to him and give him some love.
His owners suck!! Makes me sad. People like that shouldn't be allowed to have a pet.
