Still, if I could only have one bottle, it would be lagavulin 16. Granted, my sample size with scotches is small
 
Glen Scotia Victoriana is one of my go to drams.
I also love most of the output from John Distilleries in India.
People scoff at the thought of Indian whisky but it's fantastic.
 
If you like peaty drinks, try Wee Beasty from Ardbeg.
You can pick it up in Tesco... usually 38 quid but often on sale for 33. One of the best value for money whiskies you can get imo.

Food you ever try the Ardbeg Grooves? Lovely.

Another peated I HIGHLY recommend is the Kilkerran Heavily Peated.
Any of the 5 batches they have done are outstanding and I have a permanent order with a shop that any/ as many bottles he gets in I will buy.
It's very hard to get hold of as it sells it almost instantly on release.
