Black Bean Chilli with Coffee

By coincidence I have a recipe for sweet potato and black bean chilli that contains coffee . I may actually go for instant coffee though. Hubby said the fresh coffee I made in the cafeteire this afternoon wasn't drinkable.

I've found that instant coffee often works much better in savoury recipes - its also easier!

It's instant coffee in tonight's evening meal ! Sweet potato and black bean chilli with coffee. Plus the sweet potato fries with coffee and dark chocolate drizzle.

Its surprisingly good. If you infuse the eggs for less time (I tried it) the taste is incredibly subtle. It doesn't taste like coffee but a savoury 'umami' taste.
