Now to the matter at hand. First off let me say I was happy to get a much better showing of recipes this time around and want to thank all who participated. Everyone might know I am very big on presentation. That said, I thought most of the dishes were quite pleasing to the eyes. Sadly there can only be one winner (not really) and so I have decided to throw @epicuric into the ring and declare him the winner of this Challenge. I did have a soft spot for @classic33 Rigotoni Pasta Pie, @morning glory original dish and a few others. In the end @epicuric prevailed. Congratulations to all of you and I look forward to the next ingredient.

Not the Pasta Smoothie then?

Not quite, you can "drink" the pasta, not chew on it.
This might be a better look. I think if you had submitted a picture looking like the one below the smoothie might have taken the cake. What's the opposite of a soft spot? That's what I had for the recipe, but that would not have stopped it from being a winner. Sometimes the things that are the weirdest get my vote.

I'm good at that part. I've been keeping things sensible though.

Thank you @winterybella. I really didn't expect to win on my first attempt, especially with so many great pasta recipes being entered.
Summer is almost here, and with it comes a glut of tomatoes, so that will be the ingredient for the next Recipe Challenge. Fresh, tinned or sun dried, any will do, doesn't even have to be the main ingredient of the recipe as long as it includes a good measure of tomato.
Deadline will be midday, Sunday 12th June.
New members can win this challenge!

I have an entry ready right now which I was about to post anyway! Its purely coincidence that it features tomatoes as a main ingredient.
