Well, its judgement time! We have had a good number of entries this time round and lots of interesting ideas put forward including three recipes for cakes and three recipes for smoothies. I was surprised that there were no salad recipes though. The majority of recipes were quite hearty affairs and seemed to be trending towards hotpots and stews (just an observation). One notable exception to this was @Elawin 's Beans and Greens, which ranked in my top three choices. It was also one of the few 'own recipes'. Another 'own recipe' was Beanie Crumble from newcomer @Sable Beech which also ranked in my top three. The third recipe on my shortlist was Roasted Garlic, Parsnip and White Bean Soup from @SatNavSaysStraightOn. I thought this was probably the most elegant of the entries - a lovely silky smooth texture with aromatic rosemary and that inimitable roasted garlic flavour.

An honourable mention goes to @classic33 for putting forward some eccentric recipe ideas but also an interesting recipe for Guinness® and Greenbean Casserole. This one nearly made it to my shortlist but, rather strangely, you might think, although I like green beans, I'm not a fan of them mixed into anything else.

Well, Its quite a close call but in the end I have chosen Roasted Garlic, Parsnip and White Bean Soup from @SatNavSaysStraightOn. So congratulations and its over to you @SatNavSaysStraightOn, for the next ingredient.
