The CookingBites recipe challenge: tinned/canned tomatoes

OK. I've been thinking and I was considering how to make fresh homemade pasta with tomato juice and/or tomato concentrate instead of water. Any ideas? Searching on it is a nightmare everything comes back as tomato sauce... I had more success finding chocolate pasta than I am tomato pasta.

I might just have to mix and see what happens. I was thinking of pairing it with a vegan red pesto which should be a much easier search.

One tbsp of tomato puree for every 3 1/2 oz flour seems a lot of puree
Adding sepia ink to get the colour is a new one on me, didn’t know it was a food item!

I guess it must be something natural just because it’s so old.
I’ve never seen it as a cooking ingredient in anything before.

So sepia ink isn’t vegan, I would never have given it a thought!
Can’t believe squid/cuttlefish ink can keep for up to 4 years.
