I've made a vanilla dairy free ice cream.. egg based, yesterday. So it probably qualifies, but I haven't had time to write it up.
I do recall a litre of Almond milk, unsweetened, 125g raw sugar (golden caster equivalent), 10 egg yolks, 2 tsp vanilla bean paste (I've no vanilla beans at the moment), some arrowroot to thicken and I think that was it. It's tasty, creamy and definitely vanilla flavoured. i needed to use up some eggs so that helped. It was made yesterday and frozen today (in the fridge overnight because I ran out of time when a certain husband of mine missed his train home and will there's only 4 a day and that was the last one... A long drive followed). In today's hot humid weather it hit the spot at lunchtime when it was being frozen, whipped and frozen again. I don't have an ice cream market.
