We have no tree nor do we celebrate with presents this year, giving presents is not really traditional here. I just always get something from hubby anyway 🥰
Next year I hope to do a big party..

Here the tree and food usually take centre stage. We are decorating tomorrow with lights and baubles but no tree. It's just not the same this year, we just heard we will likely go in full lockdown again from tuesday on.

So Santa won't be angry because he won't visit us this year.

Well, I'm happy for you regardless of how poorly this year seems to be going - years like this, we need to grab on extra tight to the good things...like that book! :)

We'll definitely have a good time regardless. Just a little different from normal, but that's all. This is a great start!

We've had record and near record high temperatures all week, but a cold front came through overnight, and dropped the temperatures by about 25F degrees. It is 39F/4C right now at 10:30PM. We will get close to freezing before morning, but not quite to freezing.

20 to 30 years ago, the first freeze here happened around Halloween. Now, it happens around Christmas. Yet, 40 percent of Americans say Global Warming is a hoax. Worse, 60 percent don't think it will effect them personally. That's the killer number, because a majority of Americans don't care what happens as long as it doesn't effect them personally (with the exception of huge events like 9/11).
