Had a colleague who lost his hamster and did bury him. When he told me about him, he was so sad. caseydog, did you think about burying Teddy?

So sorry to hear that caseydog our son recently put his dog down as well after 14 years. Great memories of him growing up with my grandkids.
I had dogs for years and I miss mine even now. :( :(

For early spring it's a miserable day here. Wind and rain. Butcher just left. Hes feeling better with pills doubled.
Watching eli grandson while his mums out shopping. Our tea will be a pie each. He loves steak cheese and bacon.

While making up a pot of steamed white rice for tonight's dinner, a thought hit me.
I so want Spam® Musubi, but by the time I actually make them up, I don't want it anymore ... why not make them up and stop at the point of wrapping them in Nori ... wrap them up in plastic wrap/cling film and freeze them ... defrost when ready to eat some, microwave to heat a bit and wrap with the Nori 💡

There you go!

Oh my! Are you in plaster? I feel for you as I once broke my ankle so badly it needed a long operation. I'm mostly made of metal in that ankle now.
No cast thankfully, they gave me an aircast (boot thingy) and crutches.

It was ok this past weekend (I was celebrating the birthday with family) but once we got home reality has settled in and now I’m bummed out - going to be laid up for a bit, which will be hard as I’m normally quite active.

It’s also really swollen and quite painful. I tried to make it through today without painkillers, which was a mistake- I finally caved around 8 pm.

My colleague has given me an open knee support to try, be damned if I know how to put it on...maybe my knee is the wrong shape...:scratchhead:

At Bingo last night during intermission, the "caller" wanted everyone to give me a hand.

Calling me by name, she thanked me for donating baked goods each time that I come to play Bingo with them. She went on to say that I generate $20-25USD each time and it costs their Community $20 to provide treats at the break in the fun ... so basically, I'm covering most of their cost 👏
