Ditto on the jealous (at the right time of year that is! ). My mum said that Manchester airport had been closed for 4hrs because if heavy snow. I know it did that on our honeymoon as well, yet landing in Stockholm, we landed on a run way of snow without issue, lol.

Here it is also white, but that grey white with low cloud and rain, heavy rain... there should be a view stretching for 20-40 miles or more just over that tree line (which is a dirt road, or mud road at the moment)... we were forecast 1-5mm of rain. We've well and truly exceeded that and it's not yet 9am! We're around the 20mm mark so far.

Much rather have the snow (in winter though)...

Never Have I Ever ...

Placed an order for grocery delivery!

I know that it's very common in today's World, I've just never done it.

BUT!

DH & I are not feeling well and my Mother called to gave me her list for the week... normally, I order her things online, pay for it with her credit card on file with the store, do a curbside pickup and take the whole lot to her apartment, put it all away for her and visit for awhile.
Not today.
So I'm a bit nervous that this will go smoothly 🤞

We had a very light sprinkling this morning, nothing to really care about. Our IT manager lives in London, he is working from home today because of the snow they have had.

I drove to London for a meeting in late December (1981 I think) and it had snowed. After living in Yorkshire for 30 odd years I couldn't believe how a sprinkling of snow could cause so much chaos.

Me neither (unless you categorise preparing a list for my wife as placing an order).

Although I have had "one off" deliveries of products ordered through the Internet which I cannot obtain locally.

It is surprising how much chaos can occur after a light sprinkling, however it looked quite deep from his pic he sent in so fair enough he doesn't want to venture out when he doesn't need to.

Been waiting all day for my call for my MRI results, because calls from the hospital here can always happen all day long. But nothing. The nurse 'forgot' to call, but she also forgot to schedule my MRI twice. She's new to me and doesn't seem very dependable.. It's rescheduled for tomorrow now, meaning I can't go to the barber because I can't answer the phone in the salon. Grumble.

That would make me mad. We’ve found over the years that our doctors are usually fine to deal with, but it’s the staff who are incompetent.

We’ve had lost test results, lost scans, dropped prescriptions, bad coding for insurance, messed up bills, and it’s to the point we just expect it now, as it’s the norm.

I just moved to a new doctor. She’s great, but her nurse messed up calling in my first two prescriptions.

Fingers crossed on good news with your MRI.

That's terrible! My hospital has overall been great, just sloooooow.. and this nurse hasn't made a good impression so far but that's definitely not the norm for this hospital. I hope I get another one now, that would be worth the wait

I had my MRI last Wednesday, and the report was on the Patient Portal late Thursday. My hepatologist and the hospital she is connected with are both pretty good. Their Patient Portal is the only one I've ever experienced that is worth anything.

That was a huge reason I switched docs - MrsT uses the same doc and their patient portal is excellent.
