The good thing is that the offending wisdom tooth has now gone. While it's not fun having the thing wrenched out, it doesn't bother me too much. The only bit of the procedure that I'm not so keen on is the grinding and crunching noises that you get as the dentist is trying to work the brute loose. At least I have no more top wisdom teeth now, although these are, apparently, much easier than bottom ones. I've still got both of those and intend to keep them if possible.

You have no idea how bad things can get. A few years back I had all my top teeth extracted and replaced with dental implants. The implants are placed in holes which are drilled into the bone of the jaw. The whole process took several months of dental work and cost me more than I care to admit. I have a lovely set of gnashers now - but please don't talk to me about grinding and crunching noises.

I had my 2 lower wisdom teeth out when I was 20. It was done under a general because they were impacted. Later on I to have one of my top ones removed. My dentist did it inside a couple of minutes under a local. It was amazingly easy. Instead of pulling it down, he pushed it up and it simply then fell out of its own accord. I still have the other one in the top. But I have problems with my lower front two teeth. They are under a lot of pressure from the others and have many top to tail vertical splits in the enamel which is starting to chip and come away in pieces. Sooner or later they are going to give up completely... I'm avoiding the dentist currently... I don't need to be informed as to what is going on or what is going to happen soon...

@SatNavSaysStraightOn how are you and how is your new home?
I've no idea. I've not spent any time in it yet except for Wednesday when I was home all day, but I needed to free the washing line from the trees and that took half a day alone because it was rather more in the tree than we had originally realised!

We have also underestimated (or rather my hubby did) the amount of stuff we had in the garden... So I've spent the last week taking him to work, (with the trailer on, 45-60 Min journey), then driving to old home (45 min journey) , packing car and trailer with, well everything garden related or shed or bicycle related, driving to new home (an hour away), unpacking, driving back to old home, packing car and trailer again, doing some cleaning until z5:30pm, driving to railway station and picking up hubby, driving to new home (by now gone 7pm) unpacking car and trailer and eating whatever makes an appearance from the freezer.. It's been 8pm most nights before we've eaten, so last night I decided I wanted chips. So we went to the Greek pizza restaurant opposite our doctors, ordered a pizza minus the cheese and a portion of chips minus the mandatory salt and vinegar and ate tea there instead, then I drove home... Then bed before it starts again at 5:30am...

Tomorrow I get to pick up my new car. We've been told to bring our trailer. Apparently he keeps finding things that 'belong' to the vehicle and is giving to us! We are now upto 6 wheels oh well.

It all stops on Monday when we have to hand the keys over for the old property. So I may get to see this house in daylight come Tuesday. If my back permitted it, I'd lie in but it doesn't...
