I do not like "Talk Shows " and avoid watching them. G will watch them and I hear bits and pieces. Those self appointed experts and spokesmen are making Covid19 a race issue.
Makes me want to on my favorite pair of shoes.
A bunch of blithering idiots
They do the same with weight issues, there is a correlation with body fat causing Corona to last longer but it's being used to fuel a storm of fat hating and discussions about whether fat people (and disabled people) have a right to treatment. It's depressing to hear.
All prejudice always comes to the forefront in times of crisis . Rascism , sexisism ( violence against women is up 25% globally since the start of the crisis) and other forms of discrimination.
A sad day for motoring enthusiasts - Sir Stirling Moss has passed away. If you want to know the definition of 'racing legend', look up his performance on the 1955 Mille Miglia.
I have similar issues with my family as well. Growing up I was the only member of my family who was not overweight. So in a household if 6, it was just myself with a normal weight. The rest of the household included 2 young children both very overweight after I left home to go to university, and the adults' excuse was that they were happy with their weight. Yeah, right and I'm talking size 24-28 in ladies clothing when I was a size 10. My youngest brother was that overweight that he had to see the school nurse every single day.Although I oppose "fat shaming." (or any kind of shaming), I do worry that we've gone too far, to the point where we are "enabling" obesity, by trying to be "PC." My sister is dangerously obese, btw, so I have first hand experience of what tip-toeing around the truth can lead to.

Daughter about a week earlier said red caps were $3 ea or a bag of mixed 8 caps $3, I didn't see but maybe the cheap, ones were older. The price of capsicums varies substantially here. One week they are ฿45.00 each and the following week they could be ฿40.00 for three.
Seriously - what are you going to do?
Serious question, what is the thinking behind prohibition?I have 5 cases left. The prohibition in our province currently expires on 30th April so I'm OK till then. If they extend prohibition I'll probably move to the Philippines or Malaysia (that's if I'm allowed out) until all this nonsense is over.
[I'll be closely monitoring the situation in other provinces particularly those that have only (up to now) closed the licenced outlets until later this week].
It's 8:40AM here and it's 55F...but that's the warmest it'll be all day. Heading down to 30F overnight.It is April 13, in Texas, at 7:30AM... and it is *&%#*@ 37 degrees F.
