flyinglentris, I was just looking at the Aldi's sales paper. They are going to have light reels on sale next week. I'm not sure if they are near you but, IIRC, remembered that you were pondering about how to get your lights back in the original box.

Yorky, my Some-timers kicked in and I cannot remember who mentioned getting Christmas lights back in their original packaging. Some members think it may be you. The more I think about it, the more my brain fog kicks in. LOL

Edited to add: Do you have Aldi stores in Thailand? I love being on an international forum. I learn so much!

I'm not one who likes to spend a lot of time on the phone. Usually, I just want to get to the point, and get off the phone. However, I get on the phone from my best friend of 40-plus years, and we can talk forever. Two hours, a normal call. I don't think we have gone over three hours... yet. My ear hurts after the calls. I don't know how we do it, we just do.

Time flies when you're having fun. Talking to a good friend qualifies. ;-)

Back when I was growing up, lights and ornaments were made of glass so light reels and big totes wouldn't have worked. Another improvement is bulb independence. It would take forever to figure out which bulb caused the whole string to go dark. Those were the days...when untangling lights was just part of the deal. LOL

Sadly they weren’t phone calls with friends, but working phone calls - several, luckily not 2 hrs no-stop. My ears were fuming too other than burning though 💨👂🏻👂🏻💨
