Couple days ago I went to the supermarket to get dried basil. It was stores right next to the dried coriander. I brought home the dried coriander instead of the dried basil I wantes. I only noticed this two days later.
I bought shampoo instead of the hair conditioner I wanted to buy. I only noticed this one month later
Just long enough for it to start snowing.I wonder if it's ever going to stop raining.

Saturday, git er done day. I have 5 doors that need to be taken off and 10mm / or 3/8 inch planed off the bottom. The door doesn't close at the moment. I'll give fresh coat of paint. Well two coats now. Second coat in an hour. I will leave to dry and fit tomorrow. Then I'll start the second door.
Replacing door handles as well.
These are old fashioned.

Wow, 10mm is a lot. Do houses in NZ shift around as much as they do on Texas black clay soil? Are you using a hand powered planer? I have a Bosch electric hand planer. Between my house, my family's houses, and friend's houses, it gets used pretty regularly.
If we have normal amounts of rain, all my doors and windows work fine. If we have a summer drought, some doors won't close, and some windows won't open. Every house on my side of my street has had foundation repairs done -- including mine. They basically use hydraulic pump to push "piers" under the foundation until it hits the sedimentary rock below the clay. It is messy and expensive.
Being a tool guy, you might find this video interesting...

It must be very stressful for people who are not as lucky as us and are low income. The fear of getting ill must be very counter productive.Same system here. We're blessed to have it
I am so happy to read that you are both at peace. Hugs to you both.To follow Lu's post, two above. Today we have finished cleaning and redecorating her dad's house, removed and sold the last of his possessions that we did not want to hold onto, and handed the keys back to the property owner. This is the crap that the vast majority of us face at some point, and it is our turn this month. Some day, someone will do this for us, then some day some one will do it for them, it's part of the cycle of life.
Tonight we are at peace, in the last 15 years we have seen off all four parents and two siblings (one each), hopefully we now look forward to several years without any family funerals.
