I found one similar in a fence down the track when I was cutting back the track 18 months ago. It's pretty obvious how that one died... the stupid sheep stuck its head through the fence and got itself stuck... its skeleton was hanging from the fence by its horns! Likely it died of dehydration or broke its own neck trying to escape. It wasn't have been seen because the 60 year of fir trees were really dense and grew through the fence. The sheep use them for shade and general shelter from the elements but like all fences, the grass is greener on the other side.

If we find them, we usually free about 1 every 6 weeks that's trapped. We don't find them all sadly. They are not the most intelligent of creatures (specially merino sheep are unbelievably thick. Nothing like the UK sheep I've grown up handling. )

Well it seems I'm not doing anything at all today that requires elecriticty. I've just lost power and apparently it's a planned outage that doesn't cover us that's affecting us. Go figure. No power until 4:30pm. That will stuff up cooking tea completely as well as all the other stuff I had planned for today. Washing machine stopped mid cycle full of water and so on.

Found out today for the first time in my life that having a cold can also turn you half deaf temporarily. The eustachius tube can get blocked, and affect your hearing. I called the doctor after having felt like my eardrums were under water for a week, and now experiencing hearing loss. But it turns out that can be a normal part of a cold. Well, I never knew!
Anyone else have this problem? It's really annoying. I've got a nose spray now to combat it, let's hope it's gone soon.

Don't know if this happens to you as well:
When I'm making a new-to-me recipe, I seem to get so stressed out that by the end of the day I'm so tired!
Happend to me a couple of times when a coworker explains me how to do a dish. I was getting nervous and thought constantly about failure. Now I'm trying to stay calm and understand exactly how it should come out.
No more stress response when it's the wrong time

One great advantage of one of my medicals conditions means I can't get stressed (in that way) or panic... my body doesn't produce cortisol (the stress hormone)... it means when everyone else is losing their heads and running around, I stay total clear headed and calm. Believe it or not that doesn't actual help anyone but me! I get the "you're not taking this seriously" routine when I suggest time out for a coffee and a think or similar... everyone needs it, but no one will admit it.

(It really is the one and only advantage of the medical condition.)

I don't get hearing loss, but I get dizziness spells when I have sinusitis, which is also a sign that the eustachius tube is being affected.

I don't know what happened to me but I feel like I lost the enthusiasm for eating out. Today boyfriend told me "since it's women's day how about we go out for dinner?" and my spontaneous reaction was "noooo!". These last months, I am rarely in the mood for eating out. Maybe because I enjoy my homemade food more and more. As I've been cooking more at home I feel like I'm becoming a better cook and I enjoy my homemade food even more. Most restaurants serve food I could easily cook at home, much cheaper than the food I get at the restaurant and allowing me to give it my own twist (and whenever I enjoy something I eat at a restaurant, I always find myself thinking "hmm how could I cook this at home?" and there are always ingredients I would like to substitute or a technique I would do differently). I still enjoy eating out, but I enjoy eating out at nice restaurants, with a nice ambience and mood and cool decoration, or at those dirty cheap restaurants (in portuguese, tascas :D ) where everything is deep fried and extremely greasy (because that's the kind of food I never cook at home!). It's a bit of an issue since my boyfriend loves eating out (although he loves my food too, or at least he says so, but since he doesn't cook, it's better he likes my food :D We still eat out every now and then, but definitely not as often as he would like. And I'm considering staying in and making homemade pizza on my birthday, instead of going out to eat, which I'm sure will drive him crazy :D

:hug:that sounds very uncomfortable too!
It is...but luckily for me, I get this every year or so, so not very frequently. But the ears and nose are connected (hence why you have the medical specialty Ears, Throat and Nose) which is why issues with your nose can easily cause issues with the ears, which is annoying...hope you get better soon, that "under water" hearing feeling is a real nuisance :(

Congestion in the Eustachian tubes certainly can effect hearing. It can have the effect of water in your ears, or cotton balls in your ears. Simple decongestant can clear it out, as long as it is not infected.

Yes sadly. I have a long history of problems with my right ear and anything can set it off. Annoying to say the least. Hopefully you will be better soon

I broke my left eardrum as a teenager, and was surprised to know that eardrums heal, and rather quickly.
