My understanding is she’s just on the cover, and she’s clothed (though somewhat provocatively)…wait, is this the cleavage topic I’ve suddenly landed in?!

Seriously, good for her. Freedom to choose sometimes means you choose to land on the cover of Playboy wearing something less revealing than I’ve seen on the streets.

It is my understanding that Playboy no longer has nudes in the magazine. The company is run by Hefner's daughter.

That didn’t last long. They went back to nudity after a short break (I think).

I don’t know about international editions, though. I don’t think it’s even in print in the US any longer, online only. They’ve had some real ups and downs.

In Germany we get hail storms occasionally, 10 years ago they happened more often. Our "balls" are big as a skittle and a complete joke compared to yours

There was a pretty serious train accident in my region today. Serious enough to make headlines in other countries.

Netherlands train crash: one dead and dozens injured after carriages derail

It seems that there have been a lot of train derailments and crashes lately. We have a pretty fair idea what the problem is in the US, the same as usual... corporate profits over people. I wonder what's going on in other countries.

There are extreme staff shortages everywhere due to the decline in young adults in the Netherlands, currently almost half the population is 65+ and that's going to grow to 60% in the coming decade due to the baby boom and declining birth rates ever since. There just aren't enough people to fullfill all the job vacancies so workers have to do more than they used to and thus can't do their jobs as well.

We don't have them in Portugal, because our national train company has been on strike non stop since the beginning of the year

Same with our busses and metro's .. There are just a lot of economic problems affecting all of Europe. There's been lots of strikes here too, including in the train sector but not daily like the busses and metro's.

You really have to love the periodic rental property checks.

Finding nothing amiss within the house, they've noted that the grass in the lawn is patchy in places :o_o: yeah, with only 87mm of rain since the start of the year until the very day of the inspection, were they expecting us to waste water and water the lawn to keep it growing? Our landlord and landlady will just laugh at that comment with the cynical view of city folk not being realistic and rural living! And if you look at the fields behind, they are even less green than our lawn. I guess they don't feel like they are doing their job if they don't find something wrong :o_o:

Just look at the grass in the field down stream of our septic tank, that's really brown!

Our Home Owners Association (HOA) usually gives me grief like that too. I am too cheap to fix my sprinklers, so whenever the good lord decides to water my grass, I thank him

What are period rental property checks?

Shermie/GadgetGuy misspelled my screen name in another thread as "Flowersfreetime" and I ain't even mad since I have been taking more pictures of flowers than of people or food with my camera recently :roflmao: Flowers don't complain when I don't take their pictures from their "good side" or other such nonsense LOL

It's really odd, I haven't wanted to eat at McDonald's since before Christmas now. Everyone I know doesn't like it but I always used to want it once every few weeks. But something tasted off to me and it's put me off I suppose. Never expected to be fine to not go there again!

Now I have been on antibiotics for 3 months as well, that could also be a cause as that changes your gut microbiome which influences cravings. Maybe I flushed my MCgerm out! :hyper:

I know that there are all sorts of afflictions that affect people, and I certainly don't understand all of them. I generally make a point to be sympathetic and supportive, even if I don't understand. But, I have to admit, I laughed out loud when I read this:

Kyra Sedgwick says she has a phobia of talking cartoon food. What do psychologists say?

Apparently, Kevin Bacon was cast in a movie where he would have had to dress up in an M&M costume and sing and dance. Because of his wife's phobia, he turned down the role.
