I'm OK, but struggling. A lot going on in my plate at the moment. On top of my mother having a stroke back in February, and not being able to fly back to the UK to see her because of my (at the time) impending operation, then my operation and being discharged early on Good Friday, one of my younger brothers (47 yrs old) had a stroke in the early hours of Easter Monday. So things are tough at the moment and my brother hasn't received very good treatment (or any at all).
I'm hoping to try cooking tomorrow, so hubby is staying home to work from home in case it's too much for me... it seems that one of our favourite cuisines uses celery extensively.
But I'm still sleeping a lot, and also getting a lot of cramp in my legs from trying to do too much, but also from a "leg extension". The femur has been extended 5mm to go away with the need for me using a heel raiser ask the time (you can't in slippers or sandals which was causing a few problems for me and unnecessary pain). Once the muscle relaxed and stretches, things will settle but they're is also a long internal slow dissolving stitch running through the muscle as well, so it's very tight and not happy. But it's better than it was last time with the other hip and my progress is ahead of the previous operation, so I'm actually doing well, it just doesn't feel like it because of the pain and the fact I'm on lower pain meds that same time last time round and already back on what I was on before the op. I just get grumpy when I'm in pain, so avoid contact with friends because I will read things the wrong way when they were not meant the wrong way and get annoyed, upset, or upset others etc...
So don't be surprised if I'm not about tomorrow after I've cooked! I'm likely hurting, grumpy and avoiding people, so just binge watching netflix or similar and knitting or sleeping.
I will try to get the latest "purchases" out and photographed though. I've also got another load of purchases coming this week, so another supply of goodies!
