I don't do walking in low temperatures. Ever. If it's above freezing, I'll manage, but usually duck into the first pub on the way.
Mind you, walking in high temperatures isn't much fun either, unless you're at the beach. 5 minutes and every item of clothing is soaked.

Depends on the humidity
This time of year is high humidity. Sometimes you're just dripping, sitting on a chair ...
Esp just before a thunderstorm

One of my favorite pictures, that I’ve since lost, is very much like that, taken after I’d gone out for a walk at work and an ice storm kicked up!
I've got one...

We were cycling through Serbia at the time. We pretty much had every bit of cold weather kit on, as well as full waterproofs. This was the stop for lunch at a restaurant that was open. We had a hot meal for once and thawed out literally.

We would have shown the icicles or layers of ice on the front of our waterproofs, but it cracked and fell off when we stopped!

They're not wet, but frozen.

This was the temperature as the current storm front came through.

We went lost 10.2°C in the first 27 minutes.
We're now down to 17.something°C from a maximum of 33.4°C at 3:35pm.

And I think it is doing to be a very warm & noisy night because the house is still at 24°C despite it now being 16°C outside. And we can't have the windows open. The noise and light show is from the almost constant thunderstorms we're having. Both vehicles are squirreled away part way down the track where the fir trees that line the track are at their thickest. That's the best place to protect them from hailstones.

The lightning is on all sides of us with multiple storm cells. Being in top of the mountain means we tend to see quite a lot of the lightning.

It's going to be a noisy and intermittently bright, night. See you later when I can't sleep. 🥱
