Some of you may remember me saying how happy I was the Art Deco cinema of my childhood that closed down 2 years ago reopened and the last original working seaside cinema organ (and one of the few originals full stop) would also be saved.

The entertainment company who own the cinema have decided to screen the first organ accompanied silent film for over 25years and it’s my favourite, Harold Lloyd!

It’s not til mid March but it’s already almost sold out so that’s nice 😊
Can’t wait. The BBC bought some of Harold Lloyds butchered catalogue and played them ad nauseum when I was a child and as television choices were limited and mostly awful Harold Lloyd was a real joy.

Edit: I hope it raises up out of the orchestra pit 👏

Never did all that but squirrel stew is good!
I like the way the author says your butcher can get you squirrel, the blokes like a lot of Londoners, completely out of touch with the way the rest of the country works.
I say that as someone who was born in London and spent my early years there, they’re a different breed 😂

Never been to London but I imagine it's a lot like my sister, who's mostly lived in Atlanta, talking about the country life. Shows up wearing sandals outside and wonders why all the bug bites and ticks!!! 😆

(Never noticed my pants tucked into my socks... How can you miss it???)
Lyme disease be damned, I suppose. I mean, it is hot down there, but...DEET.
