The General Chat Thread (2025)

Mr SSOAP recently had a second repair on his rotator cuff (plus some other things done).
It’s a common rugby injury so I know a few peeps who have had it done and I feel compelled to mention that doing the exercises that the physio gives you are 100% essential for getting yourself back to rude health.

Friends who haven’t done them (because “it hurts”) still have limited strength and mobility.
So yer, without wanting to sound bossy - do ‘em, it’s worth it! 😂
Can't imagine you being *bossy/in charge*. 🤣

👍

I thought SandwichShortOfAPicnic was a driver??? Document delivery if I recall rightly.

We do deliver documents but personally I’ve not delivered any since covid lockdown finished. I do a lot of tippity tappity on the ol’ screens now which affords me a lot of time to waste on here 😉

You know those days when you think to yourself "but I've always done it that way" but you know it probably wasn't the safest of ways....

yep, just done it. Had to get the very big plasters out and I'll need to stitch my clothing as well.

I guess the cut in the trousers is only about 4cm long. The one in the leg below is over 5cm but only a few mm deep, so won't need wound closures.

Hmm I’m gonna guess a Stanley knife and a large bag of something, maybe feed or fertiliser?
So thats - Sat Nav in The Garden with the Stanley knife?! Did I win? 😂

Oddly enough, no. Those bags do actually unpick correctly if you know that they always unpick from the right hand side with the front of the bag facing you.

Any other guesses? :giggle:

At least my leg will heal better than my clothes! It's really not a good place to repair where it's cut the fabric.

Hubby has just given me that look when he finally spotted the hole in my trouser leg...

Hmm well I did wonder because I thought you'd be unlikely to buy polythene bags if it could be avoided.

Did I get the weapon and the location? Might help with the next guess!
