It’s not a problem I don’t think because it a small amount, likely floating on the top that will be well up to temperature before the eggs are added because it goes in 18 minutes before the eggsDidn't figure on the hollandaise sauce!

Will do but I don’t have an IP here in Spain yet so it will likely be after Christmas. Then again maybe not because I do love a bit of experimental kitchenThat should work! Let us know please.![]()
Definitely.Anyone interested in an Instant Pot Shrimp Scampi?
No rush for me, I won’t have an IP again for a good week or so!I'll write it up as soon as I can.
Thats a very nice n straight forward recipe!
I have had my Instant Pot for more than 8 years now, and I love it! It has saved me a lot of time, and the food turns out exceptional if you know the right cooking time for the dish. I usually use it to make things that would otherwise take hours, such as the Snow fungus sweet soup (a Chinese dessert) that normally takes 3-4 hours with traditional cooking methods, or braised beef brisket with radish.Post your Instant Pot experiences here.
This isn’t the thread for disparaging remarks about unnecessary kitchen gadgets from folk who don’t own one (oh no no no), it is a thread for people to post their experiences of these mini multitasking marvels whether good or bad.
It’s confession time from me. I have the Crock Pot version of an Instant Pot which I’m fond of (although still very inexperienced with) and this week bought an actual Instant Pot mostly to consolidate other kitchen equipment in to one appliance, this new one air frys, sous vide’s and pressure cooks.
Yesterday was its maiden voyage making ‘egg bites’ and I very much enjoyed it.
Next up is probably steak using the sous vide setting.
Do you have one?
What are your favourite dishes to cook in one?
What do and don’t you like about it?

I like to make corned beef in my Instant Pot. And long cooking stuff in the summer when I don't want to heat the house up for hours.I have had my Instant Pot for more than 8 years now, and I love it! I haven't measured the ingredients for the recipe yet, but they include snow fungus, dried lily bulbs, cane sugar, dried goji berries, and water. I can share my recipe next time I make the dessert soup. Here's a photo I found from the past (a bit blurry). I like adding a bit of milk to the leftovers after refrigerating them overnight. This dessert soup is considered a beauty soupInterested in the Snow Fungus Sweet Soup.
