The kitchen gadget drawer

It's weird watching old/older shows because people smoked indoors and almost everyone had a bar in their homes. It doesn't seem like it's that long ago but I guess it is.
I can remember when everyone could smoke in the office or while walking around the grocery store. My first duty station in the Air Force, I worked in a windowless interior office and three out of the six of us smoked, so by 8AM, the office was a thick blue haze.

I couldn't help it. I had to have one.

So, I got one. :okay:

I dunno why but I'm addicted to buying these. They last until the pivot rivet rusts and fails, about a year. I buy them by the half dozen at the 99 cents store.
Time to step up my game and buy proper tongs.

As you get older, you can use them to pick things up that you drop on the floor.

I still remember an ashtray next to my bed for that morning smoke 40 years ago.

We purchase bulk ground meat. I weigh it out to 1/3 lb patties and vacuum seal 2 per pack. My Christmas present is a burger press.
Adjustable - 1/4, 1/3 and 1/2 lb patties.
