First Shingleback of the season, in our garden. They eat flowers from the lawn and love the yellow Cape Daisies.

Are those like mutant iguanas? I mean, iguanas are primarily vegetarian but will eat insects...and guessing the shinglebacks are lizards (though it looks similar to a baby crocodile in the photo. I know that Australia has some really odd animals, well in comparison to other parts of the world.

They're part of the blue tongue lizard family.

I had to have a giggle... it's Cunningham skink. They started to visit the garage for the first time last year. But this one seems unaware it actually isn't hidden. It was going dark so the flash was used.

Went for was walk in the park yesterday and saw these guys hanging out in the middle of the pond.
