We have the wood pigeon here, its protected by law. They eat berries and it ferments in them. Then they drop out of trees. I know coasters that still eat them. They say they are plump succulent birds.
I'll take your word on it.

Booked up to go back to Spain 28th May. Mr SSOAP will join me towards the end of June when we’ll ride our bikes back to the UK for the summer - hopefully.. you never know if you’re getting a summer in Blighty

We were planning to go to France this year, but as our cat now needs 4 meds a day that doesn't seem feasible. He needs to be taken care of every day and we don't have friends who live close enough, or family that is healthy enough to care for him. So instead of a holiday we're going to several Michelin recommended or starred restaurants this year!
Looking forward to coming sunday (May 14th), when we'll eat at Zheng : Restaurant Zheng – Fine dining restaurant Den Haag (bib gourmand)
Then August 14 (my birthday) we're at : Restaurant Le Vieux Jean (bib gourmand)
Then November 13 (our anniversary, 5 years married!) : Restaurant Calva, Nootdorp - Culinair genieten in de oude dorpskern (bib gourmand)
Then December 24: Restaurant Parkheuvel – PARKHEUVEL (2 michelin stars)
So, that's looking good!

They changed it to a snack mix similar to chex mix (for those not in the US it's pretzels and flavored crackers).Looks like Southwest Air. One-stop and then on to Houston Hobby? And free peanuts.
