What’s the next kitchen item you plan to buy?

A waffle maker and I blame here for it 😂
The hash brown waffles filled with cheese and ham (plus poached eggs) I made this morning went down very well, I liked them and Mr SSOAP said Ooo I like these, can we have these for breakfast on my birthday?

I replied yes and then the well reviewed £24.99 four slice waffle maker (yes I cheapskated on it) immediately went pop!
So I decided I must have another one. Hopefully better quality one.
The Cuisinart waffle maker was reduced from £100 to £47 so fingers crossed for this one 🤞

I realize you're feeding a small army but I've got this one. Pippi likes hers with gravy...

Barriehie Mine did the exact same thing!
E6000 with a smear of hot glue to keep it together until the E600 cured (24hours)
Good to know. I've got the JB Weld on it already so I'll see how that pans out. Given using the tool properly it *should* work. I can't see a scenario where I'm torquing the pestle. I mean, it's like beginner hammer... 🤣

Well, got my heavy duty mortar and pestle today. You can tell where this is going with the JB Weld tubes... I got a refund but want this one to work. Worst case I've got a smaller pestle but that kinda negates this massive mortar... 🤨View attachment 125360
Well, now that I've inadvertently got a smidgeon of JB Weld on the pestle where you can see it, 😠, I've had to dive into material hardness charts to see if I can wire wheel it off without boogering the pestle... The steel wire wheel should be around 4.5-5 hardness and the pestle should be 6-8 so it *should* work out. 🤞
