What did you cook, eat or drink today (August 2018)?

It was so humid and muggy out we must have had 6 big lemonades between my wife and I and were still thirsty on the way home.

I've always been fascinated by the fact that the more beer that I drink, the more thirsty I get.
 
As Karen mentioned, lobster were on sale for $6.99 each. She wrote per tail, but actually it was for whole lobster. I made a court bouillon to cook them in, plunged into an ice water bath to stop the cooking and into the fridge to cool over night. I'll start picking them shortly, chop up the heads and put them back in the court bouillon, then simmer to make a rich stock.

The tail and claw meat will get vacuum sealed and put in the deep freezer, except for what we use in the ravioli. I would have bought more, but they limited it to 8.
