Can't you forage some? There have been loads of them here.I am deeply envious of your wild garlic. Tried to grow some last year but our garden doesn't have an area damp or shady enough, so it didn't survive!

Go for it! ...maybe a food art thread coming along any second...I am thinking about doing some paintings based on food I photographed. Only 'thinking' mind you!
I have no space to do it - I would need a studio. I really don't think it will happen. I have in mind large canvases you see. I was originally a painter at Art College - but diverted into film-making. I am off topic. Time for @creative to start a new thread on our hidden talents...?Go for it! ...maybe a food art thread coming along any second...
We planted it in to spots, one it thrived, the other it really didn't like at all.I am deeply envious of your wild garlic. Tried to grow some last year but our garden doesn't have an area damp or shady enough, so it didn't survive!
Fry meatballs. Remove and add flour to the pan. Cook the flour for a few minutes in the fat which remains in the pan. Add beef stock and some milk. It is I believe, the way they make it in Sweden.
It was pork - traditional in Swedish meatballs. But you could use a mix of meats. What type of meat did you use?
I have done that most years - a golf course I use sometimes has a huge crop growing on a shaded riverbank, but I haven't managed to get there this year. My golf bag and my car would stink of the stuff for days afterwards! I was horrified to see the price of pots of wild garlic for sale at a local farm shop last week - £7.50!Can't you forage some?
