What did you cook/eat today (August 2017)?

For lunch we had potato and chorizo frittata.

All the food photos look delicious. I'm staying at my lovely parents and had smoked mackerel with bean salad, couscous salad, leaves and tomato. Followed by raspberries. All salads bought, but delicious.

Mum and I are planning meringue experimenting tomorrow! Yikes! Prepare for photos of egg-white disasters.:toast:

I only had small potatoes today so other than await obtaining larger ones I cooked mini Yorkshire fishcakes today. Not a good idea.

However, I did manage to get the measure of the mandolin without loosing any part of my extremities.

[Note: there is only half on the plate because the deep fry wouldn't hold them all at one time]
