This all looks terrific (Brussels sprouts are always welcome on a plate as far as I'm concerned). And fennel gratin sounds (and looks) delicious.

My eggplant pirogue attempt was not what I expected. It was good, but not presentation worthy. We splurged a little for dinner tonight and picked up 2 geoducks. We're making a Thai noodle salad as a side.

My kind of lunch when I am at my office desk ..

I just finished a quick salad of Radicchio with Anchovy Dressing (Radicchio in Salsa d´ Acclughe) and some cheese (smoked Galician San Simón da Costa - cow variety from Lugo, Galicia ) and 2 pears afterwards ..

Delicious salad, I like anchovies with Radicchio. December it's the best month to eat Radicchio and I like it a lot. This strudel (Trentino Alto Adige) is the savoury version of the classic sweet strudel. Someone put into also speck - quite common being from Trentino Alto Adige as well - but I haven't.
And puff pustry roll never miss in my fridge, I love use it mostly when I have few time..

Yes I did do that, but it still capsized. Had to be them large royal red shrimp I used. Probably should have used a bigger boat.
