Today's lunch, made for my friend using my Christmas present!

Sous Vide free range pork chop with sage, mushrooms fried and cooked in a brandy/beef stock, and noodles.

You will still not convince me about sous vide cooking either. That fat on the side of the chop looks almost raw to me.
 
Sorry - I went American speak. I think noodles is used to mean pasta as well as Asian noodles in the US. But I will be corrected if I'm wrong! Tagliatelli is what it is.:)

:) mmmm they look more like linguine...Generally tagliatelle/fettuccine is fresh egg pasta..Or maybe is proper fresh pasta? Anyway look scrummy
