Each month, we start a new thread called "What did you cook/eat today?" Tell what you have cooked or eaten on that day. As simple as that. The thread is simply to show what you have prepared and/or eaten because it varies so much from person to person and from country to country. Feel free to also cover any meal or snack that you have eaten during the day.
Monday night is "salmon night". I enjoy salmon..my wife is addicted to it. (LOL). Tried a new recipe I found on a blog. Roasted salmon filets with a topping made with mayonnaise, garlic, soy sauce lemon juice, Dijon mustard and sour cream....topped with crushed French fried onions. Side dish was roasted red cabbage and cherry tomatoes. "delicious" was my wife's reaction.

Sounds good - I like the idea of the soy sauce and mustard. A little birdie tells me that Mustard is the latest Spice Challenge ingredient - so the recipe you cooked would be eligible if you post it as a Recipe. :whistling: :D

This one will make traditional Italian food aficionados squirm in their Corneliani's....Carbonara made with sausage.....

I've never had "not sure yet". What does it taste like and how do you prepare it, Cin? :p:
Not sure yet was boxed macaroni and cheese, cooked on the stovetop.
Also, Broccoli cooked in boiling water and a little margarine on top afterwards.

After baking three loaves of bread today, I was too tired to make a real meal. Instead, Day Three of ham, this time with Jarlsberg cheese on croissants, toasted in the oven. Also made salads with mixed greens, black and green olives, Persian cucumbers, and tomato. A nice glass of red wine as my "alcohol rubdown" on the side. No photo, but if you look at the new "What have you been baking?" thread you can see the breads.

Last night my wife made mussels in a delicious butter and herb broth, side of spaghetti.

It ended up being more of a Zuppa di Cozze since there was a lot of broth, and I ended up eating it with a spoon as if it was soup,
