What did you cook or eat today (April 2022)?

I noticed this post from TastyReuben while I had these cooking in a crockpot. Collectively, you can refer to us as TastyRibs.

I prepared mine similarly to his, in a crockpot. Then, I transferred them to a baking sheet. I decided to cut them at the individual pieces this time, rather than leave them 2-bone pieces. that’s the last time I do that, because some of them kept falling over when I put them on the sheet:

Then, I brushed them with barbecue sauce

After a few minutes under the broiler, I had a nicely glazed surface on the ribs:

84255

I would show you what remained after dinner, but there’s no point in taking a picture of an empty pan.

I second this!

My husband is perfect in almost any way, but like a typical Dutch man romance isn't his strongest point.

I once dated an American for about three years, and they're quite different when it comes to charm and romance . Yet the Dutch might lack romance, but are very reliable. In the end, I prefer stability.

Of course, this doesn't go for everyone. But some cultural stereotypes aren't entirely wrong.

Depends on the person. A family friend met a Dutch girl on his oe.
Moved here started a family settled down.......for 7 years. Then he caught her cheating on him with several guys.
He now hates the Dutch . Just his bad experience I guess.

In a hurry tonight. Browned chicken breasts in butter. Removed them from the pan. Added cooking sherry , scrapped the bitters. Added cream of mushroom soup. Whisked. Put chicken back in and finished cooking. Toss green beans in oil then bread crumbs and baked. Pretty good

My nephew's fiancée brought me a piece of special carrot cake, the very expensive kind, lol. I ate some last night and slept like a baby. I just finished it off, let's see how motivated I am for the rest of the evening, lol.

I don't like carrot cake in general, but I like her magic carrot cake!

Hooter in it? Lmao

You need to try making Tater Tot Hot Dish, a Minnesota specialty. Tasty can tell you all about it. It is a caserole, and I think I saw someone on YouTube make it in an air fryer a while back.

I’ll check it out. Thanks

I already said it doesn't go for everyone in my post. I am not hating any group because of my positive or negative experience with an individual.

I am just saying that some cultural stereotypes can be correct . Not all and not always. Not sure what the point of your post is, are Dutch people in general known as cheaters?
