What did you cook or eat today (April 2025)?

Mr SSOAP had to fly to Glasgow and back again today. He had a really awful time and was tired and hungry so I used up the small amount of ragu remains and made four crimpets.

I love how satisfying the crimpets are.
They are so good for using up left overs that aren’t enough for even one portion of food and turns those leftovers into something that taste like a treat.
My last little bite of a ragu, cheese and honey gherkin crimpet -

You need to make them greener, like TastyReuben car...

Out for a curry with some mates last night, but mine was a bit disappointing.
If you're currently in London and want to eat a really good, authentic Indian meal (and not expensive), then go to Masala Zone, in Floral St, Covent Garden.
I think I probably ate the hottest Indian food ever there in 2022. They had a "hot food festival" and this idiot decided he could take it like a true chilehead. I finished the dish, just to save face...
The rest of the meal was spectacular.

So I made pizza and wife had only 1 thing to do . Open the door and cook 7 mins.
Nice crispy crust right??
Do she opened the door and moved the top tray to the middle then put pizza in.
I took it out at 8 mins to discover what she did.. bottom was a soggy mess.
I dont understand the female mind. I really dont.
