What did you cook or eat today (April 2025)?

I'd never heard of eating beans for breakfast like the English do until joining online cooking forums; well, other than eating leftovers from dinner that might include beans.

My DH and I ate beans and rice with cheese and eggs on freshly made soft corn tortillas while in Mexico on vacation more than once. He likes it at home occasionally (without the tortillas).

We had lunch out.

The pie was mushroom, totally vegan, as was the brownie.

The sandwich potato masala toastie (vegan) and the dessert a baked cheesecake of some form for my OH.

My husband had a belated birthday party and we ended it by eating Sushi I made and chicken gyoza (I didn't make the gyoza). It's spicy tuna and salmon sushi. It worked out really well after practicing five times!
