We are on wine and left overs, so some grade 2 tapas.

There's a fascinating English grammar book called Eats, Shoots & Leaves - Wikipedia,

I know what you meant, but the first thing that hit me was a smoothie made with toast, eggs and frozen strawberries... I told you I'm weird!
You want to talk about a weird sense of humor? Mine. The title of the book made me think of an old ex-boyfriend from when I was in my 20s.

He didn't shoot me, but after dinner one summer evening, he shot a squirrel in my backyard. I made him leave and told him to never come back again.

Eats, shoots and leaves is the punchline of the Randy Panda joke. I´ll give you the first line or two, then you can work out the rest:
" A panda goes into a bar and wants some action.
When he gets into the "action" room, he goes straight to the fridge and gobbles down everything.
Then he gets "action" and, immediately, rushes out"
Randy Panda

I had no idea. But I have never heard of Randy Panda either. Yeah, I don't get out much. But I do get the joke.

My dad told me this one about 30 years ago. But then the old boy had a head full of jokes!
Wwll we don't exactly have a "Which came first, the chicken or the egg" situation here, but I'm thinking the author of the grammar book did not know about that joke. Unless they had a slightly twisted sense of humor.

McDrive today, reward for boostering 🤪

Here's to hoping for 0 side effects. I had a little soreness at the injection site for a day or two (Moderna) and hubby was a bit tired for a few days and had a sore arm (Pfizer). I don't know of anyone who had anything worse.

I am looking forward to an omicron-specific vaccine. Moderna is working on it right now!

It's noon here EST in the US. I am having a cup of tea at the moment, then I will switch to coffee, then figure out breakfast by around 2 p.m., LOL. I know that's enough to drive TastyReuben bonkers, LOL!

I'm thinking about my NYE menu and deciding what to make, I got 6 bottles of champagne because the grocery store has a deal where if you get 6 bottles of any type of wine, you get 10% off the total, plus there was a mail-in rebate for $4 off per bottle. I figure we might drink 2 of those bottles and we can have the other 4 sometime during 2022. I plan on making a bunch of appetizers to nibble on, then some lamb chops and asparagus for our dinner. Hey, TR, we might eat NYE dinner in the early morning hours of 2022!
