JAS_OH1 both DH don’t care for heavy red sauce and I will eat that on occasion.
Nothing wrong with that! I think a thinner sauce is more traditional in Italy, whereas most of us USA folks like thicker sauce. Heck, one of my husband's cousins (full Italian blood) and his wife get such a thin layer of sauce on their pizza you can barely detect it, just a light orange tint under the cheese, LOL!
