Ah, okay. So what about the mashed potatoes did you like better with the stand mixer? I am always afraid to whip my potatoes lest they turn into glue, so I usually just mash the heck out of them with some cream and butter.

You know, I was thinking how great everything looked, but knowing what haggis is made me wonder a bit. I trust if you say it was good that it was, but I still had an eyebrow raised at it.

I got side tracked.... toast again

The "cheese" is a blue cashew nut based homemade cheese that I forgot to poke the holes through to make it go blue all the way through. Despite that it really does taste great.

He said he blended some pork in it. It basically tasted like a version of tourtiere..and it came with a Whiskey sauce to pour over it..
