Marinated mushrooms, grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto with a lemon butter drizzle, and Caprese bites with roasted red bell instead of tomato with a balsamic based drizzle.
One of my favorite meals. Memories of standing at the bench and hand grinding leftovers with my mum. Then eating with fresh bread scooping it up. Electric grinder so much quicker.
Hoping it will come back and stay back later on. But we keep getting lots of sudden heavy and very noisy thunderstorms that last 5 minutes, kill the electricity and move on.
Some Chorizo sausages cooked up waiting to be chopped and added to some homemade beans for Sundays breakfast of beans on toast.
And not exciting but pleasing to look at, some plum tomatoes looking every inch the love apple!
Now concentrating in the oven on low with smoked salt, garlic and pepper ready for tomorrow's breakfast.
