Cotechino e lenticchie. Big thanks to MypinchofItaly for the inspiration to have a crack at making this dish. I'll admit the cotechino did take a little chasing down. I actually made this two days ago, but am just about to have the last of the leftovers.

I've recently started eating sauerkraut frequently because my IBD nurse told me fermented products are extra beneficial for people without a colon

I like smoothies in the summer, but they are especially good with a little rum or tequila (name change there though to daquiri or margarita)

There are lots of ways to make them. I like strawberry daquiris the best. I like to use frozen fruit because then I don't have to dilute the flavor with ice, instead I am diluting the flavor with a little rum, and some nice whipped cream for the top!

I'm picking fresh strawberries daily. I freeze until I make jam. I can divert some???
