Saltimbocca. First try; worked out ok:

Nearly put this in the breakfast thread but didn’t start eating until about 12pm 😂

I went to buy trout caviar (roe in old money) as that’s one of the only roe that doesn’t contain a million extra’s and is in my view responsibly sourced - nope none left.
They did have one that’s new to supermarket shelves near me - Masago or Capelin Roe which is often used for sushi.
It does contain all the extra’s you don’t really want but it tasted good and sometimes things go on the pleasure/toxin scales and turns out are still worth eating, I shall make the final decision after I’ve read up how it’s fished 🤷‍♀️

Made small gluten free pancakes and mixed up some horseradish cream cheese (horseradish, lemon juice, salt, pinch of paprika mixed into cream cheese), then added smoked salmon, and roe.

Everything was VERY orange 😆

Left over pancakes, I can’t imagine what size pancakes the author of the pancake recipe (Becky Excell) is making to only get 12, I got 30!

I made Mr SSOAP’s horseradish cream with vegan cream cheese, it actually tasted good, really good, not like fake cheese at all, he’s so enamoured he’s gone to buy some beef to finish up the pancakes and horseradish!

They are good fun and I got plenty space.
Nice thing is that it's ready to go, not tucked away somewhere.
Needless to say, I eat quite a lot of pizza :)

Disadvantage: all take away pizza available here taste terrible in comparison!

Breakfast was out today. A sausage and egg burrito, tater tots and coffee from Sonic. Everything was fresh and hot. The tots were perfect.

Another couple of pulled pork tacos from my leftover smoked pork butt for supper.
