Put a couple of slashes in some chicken drumsticks, poured some sweet chili and 'Beast of Dartmoor' chili sauce on top and sprinkled some mixed herbs on them.
Grilled them in the oven (I love the grill function on the new oven, much better for thicker items than an ordinary grill.)
And served them on some Ainsley Harriot cous-cous.

While travelling around I like to pick up things like this to try out.

At work on late shift, so microwaved leftovers. I can't remember what the meal was called but it was smoked haddock with an egg.

Kedgeree?

No, don't think so. It was baked in some liquid and you then had to crack whole eggs onto the fish. But either the recipe needed work or I stuffed up as it was way too watery and most of the eggs just broke up in the liquid.

It was edible though (just about). I must find the recipe again as I'll try to see where I went wrong.

I first came across "potato wedges" in TGIFs in Kuala Lumpur in the mid 90s. I have been under the impression that they were just chips of a different shape. However, I have since been informed otherwise and have decided to give them a go. I poured a little olive oil into a plastic bag with ground paprika, salt and black pepper and added some unpeeled potatoes that I had cut into wedge shapes and shook the bag up a bit.

(Sorry, I couldn't prevent the glare).
