Love a theme to base a meal around so we had steak frites WITH vegetables (non, non) and hollandaise sauce for Bastille Day

Ahem, I believe they are harcourt verts now. Hmmmm, peasant.

hahah no in this case I'm the peasant by choice: I picked the green beans because they were $3 cheaper than the harcourt verts
That said, I might use the fancy ones next time as they cook quicker and would probably make for a more uniform (refined) presentation.

Hey, off topic, but when is that beautiful Fowler child due (I often think of "it" as a flower and not Fowler child, LOL). I also don't remember if you shared the gender?

Sorry group for off-topic.

Lovely-looking food, BTW!
Princess is due in 4 weeks!

I made breakfast burritos with leftover ribeye steak plus sauteed peppers, mushrooms and onions with cheesy scrambled eggs and fresh tomato salsa.

I made a one-person size pizza. Tomato sauce (no salt), diced onion, black pepper, dried oregano and low moisture mozzarella. Very tasty, and meets my sodium limits.

I washed it down with some Budweiser Zero -- zero alcohol beer. It is finally available in the US. It's not bad, especially with the pizza, and it also meets my dietary requirements.
