he Mexican potatoes were new to me and didn't work out well.
How were they cooked? Fried in Mexican spices? I ask because I like the idea of Mexican potatoes!

I guess we'd be cellmates then.Yes, the pasta gets broken into thirds, so once I get out of olive oil prison for frying those cherry tomatoes in that, I’m headed for a stint in spaghetti prison for breaking the pasta!
I watched a video earlier of a woman in Australia who made some recipes from 1950’s-era cookbooks.I guess we'd be cellmates then.
I wanna know too. What makes them mexican? Do they have an accent? I just started using Tajin and I love it.How were they cooked? Fried in Mexican spices? I ask because I like the idea of Mexican potatoes!
I've got one up on her: I sometimes cut my noodles with a fork instead of twirling them in a spoon.I watched a video earlier of a woman in Australia who made some recipes from 1950’s-era cookbooks.
One thing she made was a spaghetti sauce, and when she served it up, she did the other spaghetti crime - she plated up the noodles and then put a little ladle of sauce in the middle, and then proceeded to eat the naked noodles.
She’ll be in spaghetti prison with us, but we won’t see her, because that’ll land her in solitary confinement!
They were baked. The recipe called for 1/2" cubes for the potatoes and then a baking time of 40 minutes at 450F. Seemed excessive to me and it was. They were overcooked. I take full responsibility for following a recipe that seemed defective. I think a better approach would be to cut the cubes larger, parboil them and then saute them in a skillet with the spices in a little oil. The spices were 1/4 tsp each of salt, pepper, hot ground pepper, cinnamon, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and cumin. It would never have occurred to me to put cumin and cinnamon on the same dish. Let us know if you come up with something good. If you do perhaps we can get the fearless leader to give you a virtual trophy. How were they cooked? Fried in Mexican spices? I ask because I like the idea of Mexican potatoes!
I'm with you on this.Yup, he also has a tattoo that is intentionally misspelled on his arm that says "kulinary gangster" Also there is so much footage that has to be edited out when there is a female in the segment because you can very obviously see his eyes wandering constantly. He's married with kids too. To me, that just seems very disrespectful to his wife. I very much dislike him.

Cumin and cinnamon are commonly used together in Indian cooking. I think some Mexican dishes, perhaps in mole?t would never have occurred to me to put cumin and cinnamon on the same dish. Today was national ice cream day in the US. I just made some no-churn dairy-free ice cream in the blender using coconut milk, pineapple, vanilla extract, ginger, and honey. It's in the freezer and should be ready in about 20-30 minutes.
