RussEarlier I made mushrooms on toast for brunch. Mushrooms sautéed in butter and garlic, a little cornflour, milk and white wine to make sauce. Parsley over the top.

That sounds amazing!There was more cooking on Tuesday. I had a hankering for a slow roasted shoulder of lamb. I read a few cookbooks by favoured chefs then did my own thing once I settled on middle eastern flavours.
I used loads of garlic, sumac, cumin & pomegranate molasses. Touches of smoked paprika. View attachment 16766

Served with warm houmous & I skimmed the fat from the onion & herb pan juices and reduced it to a rich jus.
